Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Empower AI Labs LLC collects, uses, and protects information when you visit empowerailabs.dev, book a meeting, call our AI receptionist, or communicate with us.

Please do not submit confidential, regulated, or highly sensitive information through the website or booking questions. A short description of your business problem is enough for an introductory call.

1. Information you provide

When you schedule an AI Employee Call through Cal.com, you may provide your name, email address, business name, scheduling preferences, and a description of the repetitive work affecting your business. We also receive information you send directly by email or provide during a conversation.

2. Information collected automatically

Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security events. This information is used to deliver the website, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, and maintain security.

The website currently loads fonts from Google. When your browser requests those fonts, Google may receive technical request information such as your IP address and browser details.

3. Booking and video services

Scheduling and video meetings are provided through Cal.com. Information entered into the booking interface is processed by Cal.com and may also be added to connected calendar and email services. Cal.com's own privacy terms apply to its processing. We recommend reviewing those terms before booking.

Automatic Cal Video transcription is disabled for this event. If recording or transcription is proposed for a future meeting, we will provide notice and request any consent required before enabling it.

4. AI receptionist and phone calls

Our public business number may be answered by Sofia, an AI receptionist. Sofia is configured to identify itself as AI, disclose that the call may be recorded and transcribed, and request your consent before continuing. If you do not want the call recorded or transcribed, you may end the call and contact us by email or through the booking page instead.

If you continue after consenting, we may process your caller ID and phone number, name, requested service, urgency, preferred callback time, call audio, transcript, summary, sentiment, and technical call metadata. This information may be used to create or match a contact in our own customer records, record the call, create a follow-up opportunity and task, and notify Johnny that a response is needed.

Sofia asks separately whether it is acceptable to send you a text message. If you say yes, you may receive one follow-up text about your enquiry at the number you called from. If you say no, or do not answer that question, no text is sent. You can stop any further texts at any time by replying STOP.

5. How we use information

6. Legal bases for processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to respond to your request, take steps before entering a contract, perform a contract, comply with law, protect legitimate business and security interests, or act with your consent.

7. How information is shared

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help operate the website, scheduling experience, AI receptionist, CRM, and owner notifications, including Cloudflare, Cal.com, Retell AI, Supabase, Resend, Telnyx, connected calendar and email providers, and professional advisers when reasonably necessary. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

8. Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand page visits, traffic sources, general device and location information, pricing interest, and booking-button interactions. Plausible is configured for privacy-friendly, aggregated website measurement and does not receive the content of booking questions. We do not use website analytics for targeted advertising. Plausible's handling of analytics data is described in its data policy.

9. Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including responding to your request, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary based on the information and context.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please use the booking form only for basic business information and discuss appropriate secure channels before sharing sensitive material.

11. International processing

Empower AI Labs is based in the United States and serves businesses in the US and abroad. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. Privacy protections may differ from those in your country.

12. Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of information you provided to us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to restrict or object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent, or contact a data protection authority. Some requests may be limited by legal or recordkeeping obligations.

To make a privacy request, email johnny@empowerailabs.dev. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.

13. Children

This business website is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through it.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our website, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top indicates the latest revision.
